Speaker:

Welcome my friends.

2

:

This is a guided meditation.

3

:

Shine your light.

4

:

Please get comfortable

and begin breathing.

5

:

Slowing down your mind and your heart.

6

:

This meditation is going

to be a little different.

7

:

We're going to call upon

your powers to imagine.

8

:

That'd be a lot of imagery and it will

be more in a story narrative form.

9

:

But like all meditations let's

begin as you would in prayer In the

10

:

name of Jesus Christ and inviting.

11

:

As light to be with you.

12

:

No, I've seen your prep.

13

:

Moving in to the heart.

14

:

That light.

15

:

And exhaling and chasing out the darkness.

16

:

Breathing in slowing down.

17

:

The mind.

18

:

And excelling out.

19

:

JC now the darkness and those

things that may trouble your mind.

20

:

This meditation comes from the scripture.

21

:

And the spirit give us light to every

man that come at the end of the world.

22

:

So in the beginning.

23

:

Of this journey.

24

:

You are given.

25

:

Uh, light.

26

:

A small spark.

27

:

I can Amber.

28

:

if you would just imagine.

29

:

You've walked out that.

30

:

DOR.

31

:

Cross that threshold.

32

:

Down that path at the back gate.

33

:

Leaving behind your heavenly home.

34

:

Into this journey of mortal life.

35

:

You look at this spark, this light,

this little Amber within your hands.

36

:

You realize you'd never seen

such a thing and wondered what.

37

:

You are to do with it.

38

:

It glows warm.

39

:

And it seems to be filled

with such promises.

40

:

And you believe that is meant

to be yours for some purpose.

41

:

That you don't understand yet.

42

:

You also realize that

this spark is so fragile.

43

:

And that it will need to

be tended and cared for.

44

:

So you choose to keep it.

45

:

And to take good care of it.

46

:

Something deep inside your heart stirs.

47

:

And desires this warmth and this light.

48

:

To guide you.

49

:

Oh, if you would just in this

moment, just imagine a path.

50

:

This is all new territory for you.

51

:

And the path sometimes.

52

:

It's hard to find.

53

:

Maybe at wanders in through deep

forest and becomes dark and cold.

54

:

Other times it's open and spacious.

55

:

Lots of options to choose.

56

:

You do notice the beauties along the way.

57

:

Maybe the colors.

58

:

Sky.

59

:

The earth.

60

:

The birds.

61

:

Sounds.

62

:

All inviting.

63

:

All apart of this.

64

:

Wonderful journey.

65

:

You are on.

66

:

So we have placed this light into a

lantern to carry with you on your journey.

67

:

PKG knew the road ahead could be

cold and dark and scary at times.

68

:

And you have fed that spark

daily by gathering kindling.

69

:

You find along the path.

70

:

You've recognized that this spark is

demanding of your time and attention.

71

:

And to keep this flame.

72

:

Alive.

73

:

Burning bright.

74

:

It's hard work.

75

:

Sometimes you've wanted to give up.

76

:

Aware of the demons lurking.

77

:

That despise that light.

78

:

Any light.

79

:

The seat today, extinguish all sparks.

80

:

But you, my friend.

81

:

That light that is within you.

82

:

It's strong.

83

:

Strong enough to fight

them off and protect.

84

:

That light.

85

:

Notice.

86

:

That your words and your songs.

87

:

When you say to encourage.

88

:

Used to bring hope.

89

:

To the spark when it

was scared and fearful.

90

:

Increased.

91

:

The flames.

92

:

Brilliance and light.

93

:

And you notice.

94

:

It begins.

95

:

To grow stronger.

96

:

You sheltered it from the storms and the

dangers that threatened to put it out.

97

:

And you've actually

discovered that those wins.

98

:

Strengthened.

99

:

And make the.

100

:

Amber Crow, even brighter.

101

:

And now it's growing in

its brightness light.

102

:

Gathering more light.

103

:

And more light.

104

:

Soon your light has outgrown the lantern.

105

:

So you place it on a torch.

106

:

Or the flames dance and

reach out, lighting your way.

107

:

The path that once seemed

cold and dark and scary.

108

:

It's now become clear and bright.

109

:

And familiar to you.

110

:

Others have also enjoyed the brilliance

of your light from your torch.

111

:

which will pop and small sparks.

112

:

Our left-hand scattered for

others to gather and keep.

113

:

Some who have lost their spark.

114

:

Treasure this new spark

and pick it up eagerly.

115

:

While others quickly stomp it out.

116

:

Afraid.

117

:

Of what it might be.

118

:

You.

119

:

Breathe in light.

120

:

Courage.

121

:

To continue on.

122

:

And it's there that you realize you

are traveling with other light bearers.

123

:

Where you encourage and

cheer each other on.

124

:

Linking arms.

125

:

Walking forward with faith.

126

:

Lifting.

127

:

The downtrodden.

128

:

And the broken along the way.

129

:

And now.

130

:

Your little spark has

grown into a roaring fire.

131

:

That's warm, inspired and illuminated.

132

:

Being a light for others

who travel with you.

133

:

Feeling the joy.

134

:

That this light brings.

135

:

And there.

136

:

You see the summit?

137

:

You're almost there.

138

:

Feel the joy and the

warmth within your heart.

139

:

At the trail of light you've left behind.

140

:

All the lessons.

141

:

So grateful for all the

lessons that you've learned.

142

:

By loving spark into a blazing for lame.

143

:

And sharing it with your fellow travelers.

144

:

Then the day came.

145

:

That your light.

146

:

And you and a brilliant flash.

147

:

Reach the summit.

148

:

And there you stand.

149

:

And a perfect brightness.

150

:

Illuminated.

151

:

Shining with this light

from your head to your toes.

152

:

Full.

153

:

Joyful.

154

:

Perfect.

155

:

Brightness of hope.

156

:

It is then.

157

:

That your heart and eyes.

158

:

Our open.

159

:

And you understand where

this spark had come from.

160

:

And you understand the promises.

161

:

And the reason.

162

:

It was given to you.

163

:

Let your light.

164

:

So shine.

165

:

Before man.

166

:

That they may see your good works.

167

:

And glorify.

168

:

God.

169

:

Remember.

170

:

You are light

171

:

And that, which is of God is light and

he, that received light and continues.

172

:

Moving forward on that path.

173

:

Receives more light and

that light grows brighter.

174

:

And brighter.

175

:

And tell that perfect day.

176

:

It is here.

177

:

But I will leave you

178

:

To ponder.

179

:

And I will.

180

:

See you on the trail.

About the Podcast

Creative Spiritual Journey
one small, deliberate step at a time
We are all on a journey—a journey home to our heavenly parents. Any experienced traveler knows there are days you laugh and days you cry.

We aren’t here to tell you how to live—we are here to share how we live—how we survive, thrive, and even find joy!

The journey gets messy with rainstorms and sleepless flights but the hard times—the miserable times—those make the best stories.

And the vistas, the sunsets, the little birds outside the window—those are the reminders that God is in the details, he is aware of us, he has trod the path before.

The Creative Spiritual Journey Podcast is hosted by Judy and Ghia Cooley—two sisters in their wisdom years—who love the savior and are dedicated to making this journey one small, deliberate step at a time.
